Feb. 7 - Gozalandia Falls

“Don’t listen to what they say. Go see.” –Unknown

Today we ventured over to San Sebastián to hike to the Gozalandia Waterfalls. With the help of our trusty Waze app we had no problem finding it. Parking cost $5 dollars, which seemed very reasonable since the area has nice concrete trails, stairs, restrooms and a cute little cantina to enjoy something to drink and eat once you've worked up a thirst from hiking to the two waterfalls.

Steps down to the lower falls
Pictures of the lower falls. Water levels are low, so the falls weren't very impressive. But still pretty and worth our time to visit.
Looking down on the lower falls from the trail to the upper falls.
Looking over the top of the lower falls.
A neat little pool at the top of the falls.
The upper falls
Looking down stream from the upper falls.
Stan sitting at the bottom of the falls.
We joined John and Janice for dinner this evening at the Harbor. What a great setting...right on the water.
