So glad I found your blog. Wife and I are doing our prep work for the Loop. Love your stats. Helps me get a better handle on costs and expenses. Do you keep a log of expenses? If so, do you share for review? Congats.. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your up coming adventure. If you have a blog I'd love to add it to my list. I only keep a spreadsheet of our daily expenses...there isn't a break down of what we spend while cruising or at home, but we spend about the same either way. The only extra expense is if there is a large purchase. Eating out, groceries, entertainment, docking (you have to pay for the boat to be somewhere) and etc. are about the same. We do eat aboard a lot and we like to anchor when we can. We trade buying gas for buying diesel. We live in Texas (in the country) and drive two cars, so the exchange is pretty close.
