Happy New Year...we look forward to 2022 and the new adventures it brings. We hope it will include a little more travel, although we feel lucky to enjoy our time in New York and Texas. It would be fun to explore a few new places and learn a little more about our wonderful world.

Happy New Year...here's to hoping 2021 is an easier year than the last one has been. We’ll begin the new year as full time liveaboards...first time since we started cruising ten years ago. No one can predict what adventures the new year will bring, but we look forward to them all.

Happy New Year...I hope 2020 brings happiness, health and adventure to all of you. It's hard to believe we're starting the third decade of this century...wasn't it just yesterday we were waiting for the new millennium to arrive? The last 20 years have brought a lot of changes and blessings to our lives and the beginning of a new year is the perfect time for us to reflect on the past and the future. We're spending our lives doing what we love, with the people we love...who could ask for anything more. The past is full of wonderful memories and the future is full of hope...every year seems to get better.

Another year has come and gone...and I can truly say I’m glad to bid farewell to 2017. As the stressful memories of the past twelve months slip away, our blessing and good fortune from the year become easier to see. We have so many things to be thankful for in our lives and we look forward to the new adventures that await us in 2018. Happy New Year to everyone. I hope it brings happiness, health and prosperity to all of you.

Happy New Year...I hope 2017 brings happiness, health and adventure to all of you. The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on where we've been, the things that are important to us and what we'd like to achieve in the future. With each passing year the months seem to pass faster than the year before and it's hard to imagine how so many years and wonderful events have passed so quickly. I really feel we have been blessed our whole life and we have enjoyed every stage. Yet each stage seems to get better than the one before...maybe that's the way it's supposed to be. 

I had a great life growing up, I enjoyed time with family and friends, playing sports, belonging to clubs and going to college. I fell in love without having to look for it and we built an amazing life together. We watched our two wonderful sons grow into extraordinary men and now we are watching our family expand with the addition of grandchildren. We are spending our life doing what we love, with the people we love...who could ask for anything more.

Happy New Year...2015 was a good year filled with a lot of family time and a few new adventures and we look forward to the new adventures that await us in 2016.

Our last day of the year started on the water with a short cruise from Key Largo to Islamorada. We spent the rest of the day relaxing, eating good food, doing a little shopping, visiting with friends and thinking of the possibilities the New Year could bring. We feel blessed to have such a wonderful family and the opportunity to spend our life on the water.

Happy New Year 2015

It's a nice saying and you do appreciate the warm weather of summer more if you've suffered through a long cold winter...BUT let me tell you swimming in clear beautiful warm water on New Year's Eve is amazing. It's because we've spent a lot of cold, wet and dreary Januarys in Texas that we'll appreciate being in the Keys this year.

Happy New Year everyone…we are looking forward to new adventures and a lot more family time in 2015. I hope the New Year brings wonderful adventure to all of you too.

Happy New Year 2012

What a wonderful year 2011 was...we celebrated our thirtieth wedding anniversary in July and we spent seven absolutely amazing months on our boat...exploring every little nook and cranny the ICW had to offer from our home town in Texas to Philadelphia. We saw some wonderful places, small towns and big cities, but unfortunately there were a few we missed. There just wasn't time to see everything this time around...that just gives us a reason to go back.

We look forward to 2012 and all the new adventures it has to offer. So many new places to explore, people to meet and experiences to soak in. Our hope for the New Year is that everyone can learn to follow their dreams...no matter where they take them. Take a chance, cast off the lines, cruise into the sunset and experience everything life has to offer.
