"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in
its net of wonder forever."—Jacques Cousteau

June 7 – Port Washington, NY

Port Washington Mooring Field

We spent the day waiting for tropical storm Andrea to move across the region. The rain and winds increased all day. We were glad we had a good place to ride out the storm. We enjoyed just relaxing, reading, watching old shows on TV and surfing the Internet. Not a very exciting day, but luckily the storm is moving fast and we should have sun tomorrow.

We saw a small glimpse of the sun in the afternoon...it didn't stay for long.
