"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in
its net of wonder forever."—Jacques Cousteau

Branford Yacht Club

We woke up to grey skies again this morning, but after lunch the sun finally appeared. It's amazing how much nicer it is when the sun comes out...and warmer.

We spent last night at our friend's home, no one wanted to be out on the road in all that rain. After breakfast Ted brought us back to the boat. Stan worked on a few boat projects...mainly replacing a few hoses on the holding tank...not a fun job. I rode my bike to the grocery store to pick up a few things and to rent a few movies, but mainly I went to get a little exercise and warm up.

Since the weather was so wonderful this afternoon we decided to take the dinghy down and do a little exploring. We took a little creek up to Lenny's. They have free wings on Friday evenings, so we enjoyed a beer and a few wings before heading back to the boat for dinner.

Looking up the creek...Lenny's is on the left
