Branford Yacht Club
We’ve spent the last two
days seeing a little bit of Branford, New Haven and Stony Creek with our
friends Ted and Sally. They’ve been great hosts. Ted and Stan went to Defenders
yesterday while Sally and I spent the day shopping. The weather has been cool
and rainy, definitely not good days to be boating, so it’s been great having
friends to spend time with.
We spent the rest of the
afternoon and evening relaxing at Ted and Sally’s. They have a nice home
surrounded by woods. It was a great place to spend a rainy night enjoying a roaring
fire in the fireplace, good food and drink and the company of great friends.
Wednesday was sunny, but we knew the weather was going to be changing.
