“In Life, It’s Not Where You Go, It’s Who You Travel With” – Charles Schulz
We had a slow start to our day...breakfast by the pool overlooking the marina. No monkeys showed up, but we did see a few later in the day.
We walked through town and found a place to get a sim card for my phone. People are so amazing here in Costa Rica...they go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. It's fun just talking to people in the stores and restaurants. They are very welcoming.
Next we drove out to Playa Biesanz. They say it’s a beautiful unknown, quiet, beach between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park...a secret, solitary location covered by dense green wilderness, but it really isn't a secret any more. You park along the road and pay a guy a few dollars to watch your car...totally worth the price just knowing your car won't get hauled off or broken into. There's a wide path from the road down to the beach...we spotted a few Howler Monkeys in the trees on our way up from the beach, so if you go, keep your eyes open. We didn't have the beach to ourselves, but we did enjoy relaxing in the shade and soaking in the beautiful view.

This little Capuchin monkey was right outside our house...the bucket had water in it. I think he just came to cool off.
Kyle and Bryt gave me a gift certificate to La Luna for my birthday. The restaurant sits high about the Pacific Ocean and has an incredible view. The perfect place for watching the sunset and enjoying a wonderful meal.
