Miss Chris Marina

Oh what a treat it is to be at a marina...with nothing in particular to do. It is so nice to be able to get on and off the boat whenever I like. I haven't had that luxury much this summer. We have some time to fill before our reservation in Baltimore, so we've decided to stay here until Saturday. Cape May is a cute little beach town and everything we need is close.

As I said yesterday this isn't your normal marina, there are only two slips and fishing boats pull out in the morning and people are coming and going all day...I think it's fun to watch all the activity. The Pearl and Gallivant block the normal area used to launch the kayaks and small fishing boats, so they put one of the fishing boats behind us and there is just enough room for the kayaks to slip in between. There was activity around us all day...very entertaining. Stan's been getting over a cold, so he stayed close to the boat and relaxed most of the day, visiting some with our friends. I spent the morning visiting with Pam and then went exploring this afternoon. I walked some on the beach, shopped a little and had fun just watching people. Happy hour on the deck and fresh seafood for dinner finished off our nice day.

It's pretty tight in here!

But the kayakers can still make it through
Some of the houses in Cape May along the oceanfront
Beach near the jetties...not too busy today
Cabana Beach close to town
I like finding neat looking bikes at the beach
