Day 67 – Moving On
Key West City Marina

We finally left Marathon after eight days...we had fun, but it felt nice to move on. Our trip to Key West was smooth and uneventful. Just the way I like it.

After getting things secured and the AC turned on, we headed down to the historic harbor area. It takes awhile for the boat to cool off, so we decided to eat out. I guess you can say we did a pub crawl for dinner and our evening entertainment. We started at Alonzo's on the boat docks with a beer and calamari. Next was Kelly's, a cute little place with a garden setting, we had another drink and hot wings. A local guy told us about our next stop…it was called The Porch; we sat in comfortable wicker chairs on the porch and watched people walk by on Duval Street. From there we went to Mallory Square and watched a few street performers and listened to a little music. Our last stop was Mangia Mangia for a plate of pasta. It was a very good Italian restaurant that makes their pasta fresh on site. We had a very enjoyable evening.
