"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in

Day 3 – Galveston
Offatts BayouAnchorage

We left a little later this morning, waiting for the cold front to arrive and blow out the fog. It was nice having a little time to just relax this morning. We had our first visitor, John Blaha, a guy Stan knew from his old Carbide days. He had read our blog and knew we were in the area.

Not a lot to look at today either. We are anchored out in Galveston near Moody Gardens. After we got settled we put the dinghy in the water and took a ride. This is a nice area and very protected from the strong north wind. We are going to fix pizza this evening, have a drink and enjoy the sunset.
