"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in
its net of wonder forever."—Jacques Cousteau

Henderson's Wharf Marina

Blog entries are harder to come up with when we're docked somewhere for a long time...especially when it's a place we've spent so much time in before. We're having a good time hanging out with our friends from Gallivant and Amici

Stan's been busy working on our bright work. He has scraped all the layers of old Cetol off the windows, sanded them and applied the first coat of new Crtol...two more layers of Cetol and three of gloss to go! Our teak is looking very good.

Some of the ladies at the marina get together on Wednesday mornings for breakfast. Today Pam, Sally and I joined them along with three other women who are here for a few weeks. We spent a couple of hours enjoying breakfast, drinking coffee, visiting and laughing…a fun way to spend the morning. It's been extremely hot the past few days, in fact it's been warmer here than in Texas. It's been in the upper 90s with high humidity, not a lot of fun being outside. I've spent a lot of time hiding out in the cabin, but this afternoon Mary Heins from HeinSite took us to Ikea. It's a pretty good place to hang out on a hot day and it's always fun to spend time with friends

By the time we came back to the boat Stan and Donny were heading to Camden Yards to watch the Orioles play the Yankees. Stan said it was a good game, but unfortunately the Orioles lost.
