Day 75 - Busses & Beaches
Hollywood Marina

Stan needed a few things for the boat so we took the bus to Hallandale Beach Boulevard to Wal-Mart and West Marine. Then back to the boat for lunch. We purchased an all day pass for the bus, so we decided we would go to Ft Lauderdale Beach and look around. We had to take three different buses to get from the marina to the beach. We're getting pretty good at this type of transportation.

Once we got to the beach we found a cool place that overlooked the beach to have something to drink and watch people. Later we looked through a few shops and walked along the beach. We think the beach and boardwalk at Hollywood Beach is better, no cars to worry about. We enjoyed looking at the huge homes and boats as we walked back towards Ft. Lauderdale on Las Olas Boulevard. We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory (our first chain restaurant since we left) and then caught the bus back to Hollywood. We had a fun…long day.
