April 3 – Treasure Cay

Treasure Cay – Anchorage

“We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment.” ― Hilaire Belloc

The crew of Amen came by this morning to look at our boat and we had a nice visit. Our plan was to spend another night in Fishers Bay and go around The Whale tomorrow, but the wind has picked up again and changed direction. Our nice anchorage had gotten a bit rolly and uncomfortable, so we moved across the Sea of Abaco again to Treasure Cay. One of the best things about cruising in the Abacos is that everything is close. We were going to use the beautiful pool and sit on the spectacular beach, but we both decided just hanging on the boat seemed more relaxing. So I worked on a new basket and Stan did research on where to leave our boat when we return to Florida.

Tomorrow we will go around The Whale and head back to the northern islands of the Abacos. We'll spend the next week or so exploring a few of the more remote and uninhabited islands...then it’s back to civilization.

This water just keeps amazing me
