“Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself. Go forward and make your dreams come true.” ―Ralph Waldo Emerson

Our life in Marathon is relaxing and warm, but I really don’t have a lot of interesting things to blog about. We are staying busy each day with small projects on the boat, drinking coffee on the fly bridge in the morning, visiting with dock mates, swimming, reading, a little bike riding and yesterday we played softball. A group of cruisers meet three times a week at the Community Park for a friendly game. Each time they divide up whoever shows up into two teams. We had a great time and met some nice people…quite a few were from our marina. We plan to play again; it’s a great way to get some exercise.

I know the rest of the country is freezing, which is hard to imagine since it’s amazing here in paradise. I would hate to complain, but it could be a little cooler, but I guess if you can play softball for a few hours in the middle of the day and hardly break a sweat…it really isn’t too hot. The temperature only changes a few degrees from day to night…it’s been a content 75-80º since we arrived.
