“The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach.” -Henry Beston

Well even in paradise there must be a little rain. Yesterday we woke up to cloudy skies and we had a few showers in the morning. Now as I write this blog entry, laying in the dark, I can hear the rain hitting the hatch above my head. It sounds nice at the moment, but I'm hoping like yesterday's rain it passes in a few hours. Tuesday is one of our softball days and we'd hate to be rained out.

Well...good news the sky has cleared and it looks to be an amazing day. We are having our breakfast in the usual place...on the flybridge overlooking the water. There aren't a lot of birds to see in the mornings, but we do get a visit from a few manatees, dolphins and even a few stingrays now and then. We definitely miss everyone at home but we are enjoying the temperatures here and all the activities that keep us busy.

    1. Sorry I haven't heard of any one. But they can be fun a great chance to look at a lot of boats...and do a little dreaming.
