Boat Traffic
Atlantic Yacht Basin

We’re still here in our home away from home. We are planning to leave next Tuesday…we would leave a little earlier, but there is a cold front moving in on Sunday with heavy rains and wind. Weather predictions call for good weather next week…so we WILL move on!

Our friends have rented cars and driven home, they will return to their boats in a few weeks. It felt a little lonesome without all of them, but the Elizabeth River was a busy place yesterday. Boats of all sizes and barges went by all day and the Atlantic Yacht Basin wall is full. There are two mega yachts (100’+) here at the moment…they are very impressive. They make all the other boats look small…especially The Pearl.

Our little spot on the wall
Amici, Gallivant and The Pearl
Chanticleer - 108' mega yacht. Check out their website to see the interior...very impressive.
Joan's Ark - 112' mega yacht
One of the barges that went by today
