"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in

Sept. 9 - Wye Island, MD

Day 175 - Finally Moving Again
Granary Creek - Anchorage

We woke up to cloudy weather...again. The weather report said it was going to clear, so we got the boat ready to leave. We left at 10:30, right as the bridge opened. We had a short trip to Wye Island, a National Resource Management Area. Our anchorage is in a little cove...very quiet and peaceful. All we can hear are birds, crickets and fish jumping. We had a few light showers when we first got here, but the skies cleared by the middle of the afternoon and we enjoyed a nice evening. It felt wonderful to be in the sun.
