Day 182 - Happy Birthday Stan
Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin

We woke up to a cold morning...we actually had to put jeans on for the first time since March. I fixed Stan a large breakfast since it was his birthday and then did a load of wash. I also made brownies for him and crab dip for tonight's get together. We spent the rest of the morning hanging out on the boat and visiting with people on the dock.

After lunch we rode along the waterfront, through a few neighborhoods and checked out a few restaurant possibilities for dinner. We found a neat little wine shop called A Few of My Favorite Things…we had fun visiting with the owners. It’s a cute little shop in the historic district; they live up stairs above the shop. We had an informal get together this evening with the MTOA members that have already arrived. Everyone seems very friendly…it was nice knowing a few of the couples already. I think we’ll have a great time next week with this group.

To celebrate Stan’s birthday we went to a little Irish Pub called Coolahan’s for a drink and then had dinner at Jimmy & Sook’s. Stan had a wonderful pot pie and I had crab balls...another name for small crab cakes. I just can't get enough crab. Both places we went to are local hangouts in the historic district.
