"Never underestimate the power you have to take your life in a new direction." - Germany Kent
Stan and I spent a year building our home at Six Mile. We began in July 1983 and moved in April 17, 1984. It was a wonderful place to raise our sons and we loved our home and shop. But life moves on and we no longer need so much space. Most of our family live in other places and we are ready to move on. So after 36 years, 7 months and 21 days we left our home on Saddlehorn Drive for the last time.
We'll spend the winters in Rockport aboard Texas Pearl and our summers on The Pearl in the Finger Lake Region of New York. Our things are in storage and we plan to have a dirt dwelling again one day. At the moment we have no idea where that will be. For now it feels very freeing to be out from under home repairs, hurricane worries and yard maintenance. Bring on new adventures.
