"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in
its net of wonder forever."—Jacques Cousteau

Family Time

“These hands have held many things, but nothing as sweet as the hand of a grandchild.” – Unknown

The best part of this vacation was watching our grands play...we all had a wonderful time together. Most of our week was spent relaxing on the beach, swimming in the pools and enjoying our beautiful house. Here are a few pictures from our fantastic week in Eleuthera.

This was my favorite place in the whole house...you could see and hear the Atlantic Ocean and there was always a wonderful breeze.
Cousin breakfast
The kitchen was large enough for everyone to help make the meals
This is the Atlantic beach just down from our house
Our favorite beach was on the Exuma Sound...Cocodimama Beach.
The smallest sand dollar I've ever seen.
We had two pools we could use and getting to them was fun in the golf cart...the kids loved both of them.
The kids called this one the black pool (Sky Beach Club) because the bottom looked like sand and the water was darker.
One morning we drove over to Eleuthera Island Farm to buy fresh veggies. It's located just south of Governor's Harbour.
Our next stop that day was Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve...a fun change of pass for the morning.
Then lunch at the Buccaneer Club
Another favorite activity in the evening was making s'mores.
