Jonathan Club

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." —Maya Angelou

Our second day in California started out relaxing. A trip to the farmers market, a stop at one of the many coffee shops with outdoor seating and then watching the water and the world go by in Palisades Park. Mid morning we headed downtown to take part in the pre-wedding festivities. Stan spent time visiting with our son Kyle and some of the other men, while I spent time with the ladies as they got their hair and makeup done. The best part of this activity for me was getting to spend time with our grandson Graham.

This was a black tie, very formal wedding and everyone looked amazing. The setting was the Jonathan Club. I won't take time now to tell you all its history, but you can read about it here. I was having so much fun visiting with people, playing with Graham, dancing and eating that I didn't take many pictures. It was a fantastic affair in a beautiful setting and we really enjoyed being part of Cassandra and Zach's important day.

Graham loved looking out the windows and the ledge. I think it was his first time to see the world from so far up.
Everyone had a great time.
