We spent the first part of the morning getting supplies for the footprint stepping stone Kyle and Brytanie wanted to do during the ceremony. Lowe’s, Michaels, and Wal-Mart….seemed like we were at home, except the weather was fantastic.
After we finished the wedding details we headed to Griffith Park to hike to the top of Mt. Hollywood. The weather was great and we had a nice view of LA. After the hike we tried to eat at Pinks, but the line was too long (especially for a hotdog). We ended up at the LA Farmers Market; it was very interesting and we had fun wandering around.
We headed back to LAX to pick up Griffin; since it was close to rush hour we went to Venice Beach to look around. Kyle wasn't too impressed, but he had been there before. The weather was amazing, it felt so nice just being outside. It was fun wandering around and watching the weird people.
Instead of sitting in traffic on the 405 we decided to take Highway 1 and go through the canyon to Simi Valley. The scenery was nice, the road was windy and fun, but Griffin’s stomach didn’t like it too much. We stopped at a little restaurant named Froggy Fish Market for dinner.
We moved into our suite when we got back to the hotel...it was very nice to have the extra room. Plenty of room for everyone to visit.
