Osprey Marina

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storms, but to add color to my sunset sky.” ―Rabindranath Tagore
Hanalei Bay, Kauai (2008)
The first thing we enjoyed this morning was the chance to sleep in...the first time in almost a week. It felt so nice to be snuggled down deep in the covers...it rained early this morning as another cold front passed through. It was a very windy day, but not too cold and we eventually had plenty of sunshine.

Our day was filled with more work, Stan in the engine room and me in the rest of the boat. Stan reinstalled the raw water pump on the generator, changed the fuel filters on the engine, checked the transmission and the belts and ran through his routine maintenance list. I made a list of supplies we needed and went to Wal-Mart...Saturday at Wal-Mart, it just doesn't get any better! When I got back to the marina I washed all the bedding, finished cleaning the cabin and baked brownies. Stan has decided to wait until we get to Charleston to do the rest of his projects, so between the two of us we have the boat about ready to move south. The nighttime temperatures are going to warm up in a few days, so we'll head to Charleston then. We will anchor for the night between here and Charleston so we need the temperatures to improve a little. It can be a little chilly getting up in the morning to a cabin that's in the 40s or 50s.
