Stan and I have always loved the water. Stan grew up living on the water and has spent most of his life sailing and fishing around Port Lavaca, Texas and the surrounding Gulf Coast area. We met while sailing at our local beach. Through the years we have owned lots of boats...big and small.
Stan always dreamed of cruising to far off destinations, but in his mind we would be doing it on a sailboat, that didn’t appeal to me. Not enough space and too much time spent heeled over…not my dream. Then we started reading about the Great Loop and researching trawlers. Now this looks like the way to travel, all the comforts of home and a wonderful view from the windows. Waterfront property whereever we go!
