July 12 - Edgartown, MA (Martha's Vineyard)

Edgartown Moorings

“The gladdest moment in human life, me thinks…is a departure into unknown lands.” ―Sir Richard Burton

We had a great cruise from Block Island to Martha's Vineyard and arrived just as the wind picked up. It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the mid 70s and lots of sunshine.

We'll spend the rest of the week in Martha's Vineyard (the Vineyard) relaxing, beach combing and sightseeing. Martha's Vineyard sits in the Atlantic just south of Cape Cod. The Vineyard has been a popular summer vacation spot for hundreds of years and offers wonderful beaches, restaurants, shopping opportunities, bike trails and historic towns to explore.
