The weather finally cleared up after a week of rain and cold weather, so we decided to take the boat out and enjoy the sun. We are spending the night on the boat so I decided I would test out our mifi connection and post to the blog. Not a lot to tell so I will just share a few photos.

DEAR MARSHALLS,
ReplyDeleteCAME ACROSS YOUR SITE TODAY AND READ ALL REFERANCES TO 'PEARL' THERE-IN. FROM OUR ENCOUNTERS WITH NUMEROUS OTHER MONK 36'S DOING THE LOOP, YOUR PICS OF 'PEARL', AND THE QUITE BRIEF LIST OF CHANGES AND REPAIRS AND SUCH NEEDED TO MAKE HER YOURS, I SAY YOU HAVE A GOOD EXAMPLE A GOOD BOAT. ALICE AND I BOAT OUT OF PENETANGUISHENE [ONTARIO, CANADA]: OUR 90 DAYS PLUS ABOARD 'PROWESS' EACH YEAR ARE SPENT PIMARILY ON THE TRENT-SEVERN WATERWAY WITH SIDE EXCURSIONS TO BEAU SOLEIL ISLAND IN SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY. SHOULD THE BOAT BE READY JUNE IST, WE INTEND TO TRAVEL THE FULL TSW TO TRENTON FOR CANADA DAY, JULY 1. THEN WE WILL DRIFT HOME AGAIN. 'PROWESS' IS A 1987 9-METRE COOPER YACHTS AFT CABIN FLYBRIDGE PROWLER BUILT IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. SHE IS POWERED BY 2 I.O.S OF 185HP EACH AT A SEDATE CRUISE OF 8 MPH [ON A CANAL WITH 140+ LOCKS, WHY TRAVEL FASTER?].
WE HAVE PREPARED A LIST OF BOATS WHOSE OWNERS INDICATE ON THEIR WEB-SITES THAT THEY MIGHT BE IN CANADA THIS COMING SUMMER. WE WILL WATCH FOR 'PEARL' AND HER UNIQUE MAST AND DINGHY WITH KEEN EYES AND FOCUSED BINOCULARS
BEST WISHES,
