We have migrated north and are waiting for the weather to warm up, but while we're waiting we are enjoying watching our yard come alive, spending time with family and enjoying being in our house.
Our trip north was pretty uneventful. We drove straight through so we could stay ahead of a front moving east. Our reward for doing this was watching the full eclipse of the moon. We left Rockport around 4:00 PM so we would miss traffic in Houston. The only real issue we had was a wreck outside of Victoria that blocked the highway for about 45 minutes. The eclipse show was beautiful and we were able to see the blood moon come up the following evening as we arrived in Pennsylvania.
Before leaving Texas we enjoyed visiting with family and friends and even got to watch our family run in the Whooping Crane Strut. Our granddaughter ran the 5K and our daughter in law ran the 10K. They both did amazing. We were very proud of both of them. We also enjoyed eating at some of our favorite seafood restaurants.

One last girls night at Janice's beach house was fun...old friends catching up on our separate world.

We spent a fun day with Earline and Kenneth in Lockport...visiting and playing with their animals.
My last fun in the sun before we headed north was spending the day with Janice and her grandsons in Port Aransas.
We have spent lots of time with family since we returned to Lewisburg.
