Henderson's Wharf Marina
We love wandering through farmers markets and Baltimore has the world's largest, continuously running market. Lexington Market first opened in 1782 in the same location it is today. This market reminded us of the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, but this market has gotten a little run down and seemed to have more booths selling prepared food than booths that sold fresh items. It was worth a look, but not as nice as others we've been too.
We also rode through the Inner Harbor and over to the Harbor View Marina, where the Trawler Fest will be held at the end of the month. We had heard we could get some discount coupons for the festival at the marina...we did. It was worth the ride over. It was our first time to see this area of Baltimore...definitely more upscale than the other areas we've seen.
We got together with Barbara and David from Memory Maker this evening. We enjoyed happy hour on our boat and then went back to Sip & Bite for dinner. We had fun exchanging stories and comparing notes on some of the same places we've been.
