Chesapeake City Free Dock
We’ve had so many long days on the water this past week and
come so far, that we decided to take a day off. Chesapeake City is a pretty
little town and very quiet on a Monday…a wonderful place to relax. We slept
late, enjoyed our coffee and visited with a few others on the dock. The most
energetic activities we did today were balancing accounts, doing engine checks and shopping. All in all, not a bad day. We’ve stayed in Chesapeake City three
times and each time it’s been on a Monday…which is half price burger night at
the Chesapeake Inn. A great place to sit and watch the boats coming and going along the C&D Canal and relax, which was a theme for the day.

We're still in Cape May. We'll head to Chesapeake City on Wednesday. Called Henderson's this morning. They said they were expecting you soon. Sounds like a great stop. We'll probably see you there in a few days.
