Waterfall Transformation

"What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it sweetness." -John Steinbeck

Regular readers of this blog know I love finding and visiting waterfalls. There's just something that is so relaxing to spend time sitting next to or swimming in waterfalls. Upstate New York is full of beautiful waterfalls and we have found at least a hundred and have many more to discover.

As beautiful as they are in the summer, they are magical in the winter. Unfortunately we've never been there to take in these amazing sights for ourselves, but I belong to a NY State waterfall Facebook group and they have shared some pretty awesome photos. The transformation that accrues is unbelievable. They became an incredible winter wonderland that barely looks like the same falls. I just love to see the summer and winter pictures together, so I thought I would share.
