Sept. 11 - St. Michaels, MD

Day 177 – Enjoying our Sunday
San Domingo Creek - Anchorage

We woke up to thick fog this morning...good thing we weren't trying to cruise today. The fog gave me a good excuse to watch the coverage of the 9/11 anniversary.  After lunch we took the dinghy to town and rode our bike along the nature trail and through other parts of town we didn't see yesterday. The weather was wonderful; we sat in the park near the harbor and watched the sailboats. We had a slow relaxing day enjoying St. Michaels.

This house was built between 1800-1810, is one of many identical homes which lined this street, inhabited by sailors and workers in the shipyards. A house and lot of this type sold for almost $200 in the early 1800's
