"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in
its net of wonder forever."—Jacques Cousteau

The Cove - Anchorage

I like to blog every day while we're cruising. That way we have a record of where we've been and what we've done. But what do you blog about when you spend the third day in the last week sitting on the boat in the rain? It might not be so bad if we were at a marina...then we might be able to make a dash to a restaurant in between showers or spend the day at a museum or go shopping, but we're anchored in what was a beautiful little bay. It lost some of its charm today...first it was foggy and then it rained, rained and rained. The first two days anchored in the rain were not so bad. It was nice to have the down time to read, watch TV, surf the Internet, play Sudoku and work on our cruising itinerary. Personally I got a little tired of these activities today, but what can you do? The last two years have spoiled us with such great weather...this is just going to be a wet cruising year and we may not get to do all the things we have planned. We'll just have to take it one day at a time and appreciate the great weather a little more when we get it.
