Day 171 - Back to a Marina
Piney Narrows Yacht Haven

We woke up to a nice day, but we knew the weather was going to deteriorate during the day. There's a front moving in and the remnants of tropical storm Lee, so we will have wind and rain the next few days. We thought it would be best to ride out the bad weather in a marina, so we moved to a marina in Kent Narrows. There isn't a lot here; it's just a lot of condos and boats. There are a few restaurants and bars, but they are across the cut...if it's raining we can't get to them.

After lunch we went for a bike ride. Kent Island has a wonderful bike path, so we took it to the grocery store...about a five mile round trip. When we came out of the store we could see dark clouds on the horizon. We rode as quickly as we could to keep ahead of the storm. We just barely made it back to the boat before the rain started. If the weather reports are right we will have a few days of reading, napping and watching movies. We've been very lucky this year weather wise, this is only the second time weather has slowed us down. I just wish I could send this rain home to Texas.
