July 5 - Hilton Head, SC

Day 109 - Beautiful Island
Shelter Cove Marina

We traveled a short eight miles up Broad Creek to a nice marina located in the Palmetto Dunes area. Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina has a boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants. It's a very nice location. In the evenings they have family entertainment in the square, so there were lots of people wandering around.

We spent the afternoon riding our bikes around this part of the island. The island is very bike friendly with miles of bike trails running throughout the whole island. Hilton Head is a beautiful island, and we can definitely see why it is such a popular tourist destination.
