"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in
its net of wonder forever."—Jacques Cousteau

July 12 - Butler Island, SC

Day 116 - Dolphins, Alligators and Osprey
Waccamaw River - Anchorage

What a wonderful night we had and this morning was just as nice. Breakfast was set up in the hall...fresh pastries, fruit, coffee and juice. So we could have breakfast and enjoy relaxing in the room. China coffee cups, sauces, plates and cloth napkins...very nice. It was hard to leave this little piece of heaven, but we needed to get back to the boat and cruise on.

Once we left Charleston we saw very little boat traffic. The only company we had today were dolphins, an alligator and lots of ospreys. We have seen a lot of dolphins the last few weeks and we have enjoyed watching them play. They are very entertaining and break up a long day. We are anchored a few miles past Georgetown and there are very few lights anywhere around us. We are running the generator tonight since it's been so hot and humid today. It keeps us cool but the noise and vibration gets a little old. We'll stop in North Myrtle Beach tomorrow and move into North Carolina on Thursday.

There's our rides!

Almost a full moon
